What is this calendar?

This calendar compiles events that are:
frugal/free, transit-accessible, covid-safe, queer, vegan, and generally inclusive/sustainable.

Some examples of included events are: mutual aid distros, community markets, artist markets, public meetings/community engagement events, local activism opportunities, freegan food opportunities, community theatre, volunteer days, farmers’ markets, group cycling, and urbanism.

I am splitting time between Chicago and Atlanta, so there are 2 separate calendars. I focus on whichever city that I’m in, so one will usually be much more active than the other.

how do I use this calendar?

Calendar Updates
This calendar is updated continually as I found out about events. I aim to have a pretty filled calendar by the Monday of each coming week, so you can look at the calendar and plan your week every Monday~

Calendar Events
Calendar events will often include transit accessibility, covid-safety, cost, & other relevant details. I strive to have this information for every event! Butttt, I’m a one person team and my goal is to feature as many great events as possible each week, so sometimes not all details will be included.

Adding This Calendar
If you use Google Calendar, you can add this to your own calendar by pressing “+ Google Calendar” in the bottom right. I also repost events to my IG story @stellalala.gram
